Pathways Out Of Poverty

Realistic Pathways out of Poverty, what does that mean?

It means simply that it’s impossible for one individual group to be able to eradicate hunger or its main cause, poverty, all by themselves. To claim otherwise is laughable. We’ve categorized pathways out of poverty into six different realistic ways. Not only are these pathways realistic but they are also obtainable.

We cannot do this alone.  It will take decades of intentional, targeted work by many groups and individuals working together before we will start seeing a systematic change across large swaths of people. In the meantime, you will see that there are some notable things excluded from this list that may surprise you. An easy example of this is free food charity as a solution to eradicating poverty or hunger. Is food charity a necessary in today’s world?  Sure, will it solve hunger? No.

Working alone without any collaboration is not effective. The collective impact of our programming benefits from us working alongside our neighbors, partners and even our detractors towards common goals. With your help, we look to widen these pathways even more.
