As a nonprofit that strives to use all of our available resources on direct programming, we greatly appreciate donations.

Every donation of money or goods, and every hour of volunteer time, makes an incredible impact on the Stark County, OH community by enabling us to focus more on our programming and less on chasing down resources.

    This fund supports StarkFresh's mission to create realistic pathways out of poverty, tackle the causes of hunger, and provide accessible, affordable food options throughout Stark County. For every donation to this Together Fund between $100 and $5,000, the Greater Alliance Foundation (GAF) will provide a matching grant of 5% and return the original donation to StarkFresh.

  • Vehicle Donation

    Donating a vehicle you no longer need helps support the work that StarkFresh does.

    StarkFresh partners with CARS to handle everything from the pick-up and sale of your vehicle.

    All types of vehicles are accepted (running or not) including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers off-road vehicles, planes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and most other motorized vehicles that have a clean title.

    CARS will send you a donation receipt and any necessary tax documents.

    Since the donation is tax deductible, you may see a significant tax deduction from your donation!

  • Real Estate Donation

    Donating real estate to StarkFresh is a great way to support our mission.

    StarkFresh partners with Giving Property to process real estate donations to benefit StarkFresh and the community we serve.

    The program takes any property type (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity. Even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance or have deferred maintenance, it's no problem.

    They will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed and all closing costs. If you have a real estate asset that is costing you money or not being utilized, donating it is a great way to give back. You may even claim a significant tax deduction!

We know that people may not always have the financial means to donate, and they may also be physically unable to assist through volunteering, but they still want to help.

StarkFresh accepts many different types of items as donations and supplies tax forms for donation write-offs.

We’ve listed the most commonly donated items below.
